Podcast Interview with Brittany King & Claire Anderson
I am so grateful to have had this conversation with the incredible & inspiring, Brittany King (she could seriously be a pastor!) I was so honored when she invited me to be a guest on her podcast, She Beats It, which is about women who have “overcome†by the grace of God. Now I will never “overcome†the loss of my son, but I did “overcome†the hopeless place I was in. In the podcast I share some of the miraculous ways God showed up after losing Preston. Until now I have only shared these stories with my closest friends, but today I share it with all of you & I pray that wherever you find yourself in life that you know that your story isn’t over yet. The best is still yet to come. Hope is never lost, and God loves you.
I will never understand why it happened, but one thing that would be impossible to deny was God’s presence through my pain. Was it a living nightmare? Yes, but God met me there. People would often tell me how “strong†I was and while I wish I could take the credit, I’m here to tell you that I would not have been so strong had God not tangibly shown up.
